Shiny koi, Shiny Pearls, and River Rocks

A shiny koi is a rare version of a koi with its own special colors on its body and fins. Its accessories keep their usual colors.

🥚 Hatching a shiny

Every egg has a chance to hatch a shiny koi, and rarer eggs have better odds:

• Koi Egg: 1 in 200
• Bronze Egg: 1 in 100
• Silver Egg: 1 in 50
• Gold Egg: 1 in 25

🫧 Making a koi shiny with a Shiny Pearl

Buy a Shiny Pearl for 5,000 Koin from Shop, then Items.

1. Tap Pocket, then Collection, and open the Items tab.
2. Tap the Shiny Pearl.
3. Choose the koi you'd like to make shiny, then tap Apply.

Your koi stays shiny from then on. Every koi can be made shiny except the Gold Ogon.

🪨 Returning a koi to its natural colors

A River Rock (300 Koin, from Shop, then Items) returns a shiny koi to its natural colors. Use it from the Items tab of your Collection in the same way.

📖 Your shiny Encyclopedia

The Encyclopedia has its own Shiny tab. A shiny entry is filled in while you own a shiny version of that koi.
