Hatching new koi

You begin with the starter koi you chose during setup. To grow your collection, you hatch new koi from eggs in the Nursery.

🥚 Claim an egg

Open the Nursery from the menu and claim an egg.

🔗 Link a habit

Each egg is paired with one of your habits. Choose the habit you want to link to it. Completing that habit is what helps the egg grow.

🍃 Help it grow

The egg makes progress on each day you complete its linked habit, and it is ready to hatch after seven of those days. Completing the habit more than once in a day still counts as one day.

🐣 Hatch and name

When the egg is ready, open the Nursery and tap it to hatch. Your new koi is revealed, and you can give it a name to add it to your pond. You can also let it rest, which keeps it in your collection until you are ready to bring it out.
