When does a new day start in Koi?

A new day in Koi starts at midnight by default. That's when your habits refresh, your koi are ready for their next meal, new Daily Quests arrive, and your login bonus is ready to claim.

🌙 Change when your day starts

If you often stay up past midnight, you can start your day later so late-night habits still count for the day you're in.

1. Open the menu and tap Preferences.
2. Tap Day Starts At.
3. Choose an hour, from Midnight to 11:00 PM.

For example, with 3:00 AM, a habit you complete at 1:00 AM still counts for the day before.

📅 Week Starts On

In Preferences, choose whether your week starts on Monday or Sunday. This sets your calendars, charts, and the day your weekly recaps arrive.
